When creating a new album after selecting general in our buddypress account, when clicking on the images... we get the video skin and not the image skin. How do we change this to default to lightbox with images?
Comments
1. The button for "Create Gallery" allows three options ... general, video and audio ... no matter what you choose always shows the same. Also when you upload an audio file can not load any cargo or reference image in the gallery giving the feeling of being without content. An absolute nonsense.
2. If you delete a gallery from the web manager Cincopa and then want to deleteyour blog ... fails, and not delete the blog pudes ... other nonsense and a bitch for those who pay the service
3. The plugin does not allow customization of the galleries blog administrator. What a crap ... There are more failures but I get bored writing them. Improving and above all ... more respect we pay every month service. We do not generate false expectations.
Agreed with Miguel,
I am reviewing this option for use with a social site that runs Buddypress.
1. Integration with activity posting area is crude and badly place
2. Inability to add track image to audio
3. Inability for users to control optional podcast layout, player controls or even size of audio post in activity stream
4. Inability to post a thumbnail option of videos in stream instead of full size.
5. No filtering of Audio/Image/Video in Albums view for user.
6. Clicking "Albums" from profile view navigation replaces page with a navigation that is out of order and missing other tabs.
7. No control of disallowing "download" button from audio posts.
Hoping this could be a viable option for the community i am launching - but these are crucial details.
When site admin is offering this to a Buddypress community - HOW does admin oversee and control the space consumed by the entire community??

I am using Buddypress as well. I just wanted to add to this topic so you hear there is a need to revise. Buddypress has improved immensely over the last few years and I can now create my own "Facebook" like community. There aren't that many photo album options that work well. I don't want to set this up in hopes you are planning to improve the features and then have to switch later.. my members albums would be lost. This is a great work in progress.. I hope to see more. Are there plans for the near future?
