Why are some of my photos rotated?

A digital camera will usually save the orientation of each photo inside the image file. Cincopa will use this information to display the photo correctly. This information will sometimes get lost when you create or edit the photo using photo editing software.

There are three steps to correct the orientation of a photo in your gallery:

  1. Rotate the photo to the correct orientation
  2. Save the photo with the correct orientation
  3. Upload the photo with the corrected orientation to your gallery replacing the photo with the incorrect orientation

You can follow the example steps below to learn how to change the orientation of a photo.
