  2. Type your username and password which are the same as those you registered with.

  3. Click Add Folder to tell Cincopa agent where you keep your media files. When you finish click Confirm.
Note: The agent will NOT upload those folders and files at this point. It will scan and send information about those folder's structure and file's meta data to the server.

I've installed the Cincopa Media Agent and I'm trying to make my first gallery in WordPress. I have an option to refresh my site to continue after installing the agent but nothing happens. What might be the problem?
You need to login with your user login and password in the Cincopa media agent and then add some folders before you'll be able to continue with the refresh button.

I am trying to install Cincopa, but I can see that Cincopa isn't able to connect to the Proxy Secure Server. It says it is overloaded and tries to re-connect but with no luck.
Sometimes the server is overloaded but usually not more than 5 minutes. While the server is overloaded, the server will not accept new connections from the Cincopa Media Agent.

If it takes more than 5 minutes, restart the media agent (right-click the media agent icon and click exit and then run it again).

The Cincopa agent says it is offline.
Install the latest version of the Cincopa Desktop Media Agent and check whether it works. You can get the latest version of the Cincopa Desktop Media Agent here

Error message "can't login, server is under maintenance or blocked by your firewall"
In some cases your firewall might block the agent.

  • If you are using a firewall, try to disable it just to see if this is the case and run the agent again.
  • The agent may fail if your Windows installation doesn't have some of the fixes from Microsoft, like .Net etc. Please run Windows Update to make sure your computer is up-to-date.

If neither of these work for you, please try to install Cincopa again.
